Landing in the capital of hedonism, Hed Kandi has
unbelievably confirmed that it will join Steve
Caesar to host their first ever Carnival party in
Gozo. The pioneers of everything that glitters will
be taking over one of the highest spec venues on the
island: Maxtura for a night that will rock the
foundations of Gozo to the very core! The HED KANDI
CARNIVAL will be a combination of all your favourite
Kandi elements as Hed Kandi creates one of the most
spectacular parties of its life.
The inimitable Hed Kandi sound, which will be Kandi
Classics for this occasion, will be brought to you
by the highly requested Andy Norman – is without a
doubt the hottest ticket of the year and the perfect
way to celebrate Carnival.
The party
kicks off on Saturday 2nd February at
11pm at Maxtura, tickets are at Euro 10.50 (Lm 4.51)
and are available from various outlets in Malta and
Gozo or by contacting 79787778.
Since its
inception in 1999, Hed Kandi has become a lifestyle
brand incorporating a record label, a radio show,
international club nights and a graphic style that
stimulates all the senses. Unique and distinctive,
Hed Kandi has become a staple of quality, a
benchmark by which all compilations are judged. A
sophisticated addition to any CD collection, Hed
Kandi is music for anyone who has lost themselves on
a dancefloor.
Beginning
life as a series of compilation albums that tied in
with co-founded Mark Doyle’s Jazz FM show, Hed Kandi
soon caught the attention of a generation of
grown-up clubbers and music lovers and soon became
widely recognised for its series of eclectic
compilation albums delivering serious music with a
sense of humour. Their effort and style was
acknowledged in 2001 when the label was awarded a
coveted Dance Star Award.
Hed Kandi
has also successfully diversified into artist albums
and club nights around the globe. With parties held
in Ibiza, Amsterdam, Australia and America, plus
very exciting monthly residencies in London and
around the UK, the lifestyle that is Hed Kandi can
be experienced on the dancefloor as well as in your
home.
This will
be the fourth time Steve Caesar brings Hed Kandi
over to our islands. The first event had taken place
at Frenchies way back in 2003, next came the event
at Matrix and QDos in 2004 and last March at
Amazonia. Each time the venues where filled to
capacity and the crowd kept going and going till the
early hours of the morning. |

This year Steve Caesar will be hosting his third
New Year’s Eve Party this time around at
Amazonia.

his last two successful New Year’s Eve parties we

theme for this year’s NYE party is – the 90’s.
What a decade!!
We bought our first
PC, we began surfing the net and Beavis and Butt
Head ruled MTV.
Many
youngsters
eagerly awaited their Easter or Santa Maria breaks
to attend the high energy, all-night dance parties,
RAVES, featuring music with a fast, pounding beat
and choreographed laser programs.
Steve Caesar will recreate that fabulous atmosphere
for this year’s New Years Eve Party.
Joining Steve
Caesar will be Matt Funk, Gabri-l, StanLee, Johann
and Cli.
They will
be playing the greatest hits of that era such as:
I’ve Got the Power by Snap, No Limits by 2
Unlimited, Don’t Stop Moivin by Livin’ Joy, Gonna
Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by C&C Music
Factory and Pump Up the Jam by Technotronic.
With New Years Eve often seeming to be nothing more
than a hassle with over inflated prices for
everything it’s no surprise that Steve Caesar’s New
Years Eve Parties are a sure hit.
The party will commence
on Monday 31st December at 9:30
pm. The Dress Code for the evening is Cocktail.
Cocktail attire technically means men in
suits and ladies in cocktail dress. They will be
providing a paying bar

social drinking and conversation mix with a night of
dancing frenzy. Amazonia’s pool area is the perfect
